Tree, Barbara Marilyn; in her 80th year, passed away in painless peace at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus, Ontario on July 16th, 2013. Barbara ended her 15 year courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Devoted and beloved wife for 60 years of James K. Tree (Pine Meadows) Belwood, Ontario. Loving mother of Dianne (Michael) Lockwood of Windsor Ontario and their children Stephen and Mark, Lynne-Marie (Theo) Lange of Campbellville, Ontario and their children Jordon and Brendan, and James (Jim) W. (Debbie) Tree of Orillia and their children Kevin, Brian and Darren. Lovingly remembered by her sister Carol (Harry) Speed  of Orillia and their children Michael and Paul. Special thanks and heartfelt appreciation to Doctors Kate Anderson and Mark Easterbrook, and the loving dedicated nurses in the Palliative Care Unit of Groves Hospital. Cremation and a private family Memorial service has taken place, Rev. Greg Smith-Young of the Elora United Church and Rev. Bill Sparling presiding. Memorial donations in Barbara’s name may be made to Groves Memorial Hospital- Palliative Care Unit or a charity of your choice.
