CENTRE WELLINGTON – Work is expected to begin Aug. 3 on installation of traffic signals at two intersections here.

Earlier this year the County of Wellington awarded Cox Construction of Guelph a contract to complete the installation of traffic signals and associated work at the intersections of Wellington Road 18 and Gerrie Road in Elora and Wellington Road 18 and Beatty Line in Fergus.

Work is expected to be completed by the end of September.

County roads manager Joe de Koning stated in an email that no road closures are anticipated, but traffic between Elora and Fergus along Wellington Road 18 will be impacted.
