Trade Tracks Showcase returns to sportsplex May 22, 23
FERGUS – A community showcase designed to encourage youth to enter the trades is returning for the fourth year.
The Trade Tracks Showcase is returning to the Centre Wellington Community Sportsplex May 22 and 23, and businesses and tradespeople are invited to “shape the future of skilled trades in the community,” officials state.
The showcase opens the door for students, apprentices and industry professionals to explore rewarding career pathways in the skilled trades.
“By participating, your business will have the opportunity to connect directly with motivated students and job seekers who are eager to learn, engage and take their next step toward a skilled trades career,” officials state.
Registered employers can:
– showcase industry through hands-on demonstrations;
– network with future talent and fellow employers;
– share insights into apprenticeship programs and career pathways; and
– strengthen thier presence as a leader in the skilled trades sector.
