Tractors and Tailgates at Harriston-Minto Fall Fair
Start your engines in the field and on the road for the Harriston-Minto Fall Fair, from Sept. 12 to 14.
“Tractors and Tailgates” of all shapes and sizes will set the scene for family fun and community spirt all weekend long.
Sept. 12
The exhibits and midway open at 6pm followed by a dog team demo at 7 and the official opening at 8pm. Also that night will be a pie and silent auction, junior calf show, talent show and lawn mower races.
Sept. 13
Things get started early with a light horse show at 9am. The midway opens its gates at 11am with the Agricultural Awareness Parade following closely behind at noon.
Saturday will also feature a horseshoe tournament, mutt show, baby show, horse pull, beer garden, field crop awards, pork auction, championship wrestling, midway toonie night, wings and music.
Sept. 14
The last day of the fair will feature an antique vehicle show, motorcycle show, Nascar simulator, big bail rollout, pedal tractor pull, demolition derby and beef BBQ.
There’s something for everyone this year at the Harriston-Minto Fall Fair.
