BRUCEDALE – Guelph/Eramosa residents are invited to have their say on new Rockwood gateway signs.

The township “is excited to share three new gateway sign design concepts for Rockwood and we want your feedback,” states a Guelph/Eramosa Facebook post.

Feedback will be received through a survey that will ask residents to: review the three design concepts, select your favourite and share your feedback.

A total of four new gateway signs are proposed at key entrances to Rockwood, with sizes and locations tailored to each site.

Proposed locations include:

– Highway 7 (Alma entrance), six feet by 12 feet;

– Highway 7 (Dunbar entrance), 6’ x 12’;

– Wellington Road 27, 4’ x 6’; and

– Harris Street, 4’ x 6’.

Township staff are working to manage costs responsibly while ensuring the signs are durable, attractive and reflective of Rockwood’s character, officials state.

The survey, which can be found online at surveymonkey.com/r/WLVJVXD, closes on April 30.
