Township council approves quotes
Guelph-Eramosa council has approved two quotes for annual road maintenance.
Council accepted the $294-per-tonne bid from Miller Paving for dust suppression on gravel roads (with a 30% liquid magnesium chloride solution). The township budgeted $46,000 in total for dust suppression this year.
Council also accepted a quote for gravel ($9.52 per tonne for delivery and $7.25 per tonne for pick-up) from Cox Construction. Based on those figures the total cost is expected to be $91,971.
