Township chamber elects executive

The Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce board of directors elected its 2012-13 executive committee on June 12.

The new president is Janet Harrop.

First vice-president is Lynne Bard and second vice-president  is Joal Suraci.

Paul Walker remains as treasurer and Michael Weinstein is the past-president.

Along with Suraci, the board welcomed as new directors Peter Mohr, Terry Godreau and Allan Teal.

The board is rounded out by returning directors Aileen Hawkins, Barney Tracy and Garth Green.

“We’re thrilled to have four new directors join us this year,” said chamber general manager Roberta Scarrow.

“They will bring a new depth of experience and knowledge to the committees they get involved with.”
