KENILWORTH – Developer Brad Wilson was back before Wellington North council recently regarding another residential development proposed in Mount Forest.

Following a recent rezoning application to permit an eight-unit townhouse development at 405 Wellington Street East, Wilson sought council’s blessing on May 23 for minimum area exceptions for a 12-unit townhouse block.

Proposed along Jack’s Way, near the intersection of Durham Street East and London Road North, the development would occupy less than an acre of land.

A minor variance sketch shows each unit having a garage and driveway with a front and rear porch.

County planner Matthieu Daoust told council during an adjustment committee meeting last month that planning staff have no issue with Wilson’s requested exceptions to the town’s minimum lot area and frontage requirements.

Exceptions were approved during the committee meeting to facilitate the proposed development.
