Town hall style meeting Oct. 30
The Centre Wellington Chamber of Commerce is hosting a town hall style meeting at the Fergus Grand Theatre on Oct. 30 from 7 to 9pm.
Those attending will learn which projects within Wellington County will affect businesses in Centre Wellington over the next year.
Topics include economic development strategic plan, Fergus library redevelopment update, Wellington Place/ Groves Memorial Community Hospital update, planning, official plan and other planning documents, engineering/building projects and timelines.
Presenters include county economic development officer Jana Reichert, county chief librarian Murray McCabe, Wellington Place administrator Janice Hindley, county director of planning Gary Cousins and county engineer Gord Ough.
Questions from the floor will be accepted after the presentations.
