Toronto man charged with luring three Guelph girls
GUELPH – City police have charged a Toronto man with luring three teenaged girls from Guelph.
Guelph Police officers launched an investigation in December.
“The young women had been contacted by an unknown adult male through the social media application Snapchat,” stated a press release from Guelph Police.
“On two occasions the male lured the three youths, aged 13 and 14, to his residence in Toronto, where sexual acts occurred. On one of these occasions, the male provided payment to the youths for sexual services.”
On March 3, a 22-year-old Toronto man was arrested and charged with: sexual interference, sexual assault, luring a person under 16, communicating for sex with a person under 18, possession of child sexual abuse material and various firearm offences.
He is to appear in court on March 9.
