TOCHER, Steven Kent (Local Lifelong Entertainer) Peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital, on Monday July 4th 2016. Kent Tocher of Guelph, formerly of Hillsburgh in his 70th year. Beloved husband to Catherine Higgins for 50 years. Loving father of Holly Tocher of Orangeville, and Chris Tocher and his wife Mary of Ancaster. Cherished grandfather of Eric Rahn of Guelph. Dear brother of Diane Tocher of Guelph, Paul Tocher of Wallaceburg, and Lee and Barb Tocher of Hillsburgh. Kent will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends. The family will receive friends for Visitation at the Butcher Family Funeral Home, 5399 Main Street South (Wellington Road # 52) Erin, on Monday July 11th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at Burn’s Presbyterian Church, 155 Main Street Erin, on Tuesday July 12th at 11:00 am. with Rev. James Knott, and Rev. Deacon Irene Walback officiating. If desired donations to the Hospital for Sick Children, or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expression of sympathy.
