PALMERSTON - All Aboard Palmerston is bringing a new twist to the group’s annual September Tiny Trains event.

The committee encourages everyone to bring their family to Tiny Trains Travel the Town on Sept. 24 for activities, games, prizes and a special treat.

The event begins at 9am at the Old 81 Engine, located at the entrance to the Palmerston Lions Park.

Families will receive railway worker bandanas and maps to “chug” along to a variety of “train stops,” including the library, the Railway Museum, the Early On Centre and several of the “Trendy Train” public artwork locations.

“It’s an amazing fun and free event, meant to be enjoyed by children and parents alike,” says All Aboard Palmerston events committee member Connie Robinson.

Those interested are encouraged to register for free on allaboardpalmerston.ca by Sept. 21. For more information, visit the website and follow @allaboardpalmerston on Facebook and Instagram.
