Tim Hortons Holiday Smile Cookies support Mount Forest hospital foundation

MOUNT FOREST – Earlier this month, the Mount Forest Tim Hortons restaurant presented a cheque to the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation (LMHF) from the proceeds of its recent Holiday Smile Cookie Campaign.

From Nov. 17 to 23, Tim Hortons Holiday Smile Cookies, with their hand-decorated white icing smiles, were available for purchase at Tim Hortons stores across Canada.

One hundred per cent of the proceeds from this campaign went to support local charities, with 50% supporting Tim Hortons Foundation Camps and 50% supporting each store’s charity of choice.

For a third year, the team at the Mount Forest Tim Hortons location selected the LMHF as their store’s charity partner.

At the close of the campaign, the Mount Forest store had raised $9,778 in total including $4,889 for the LMH Foundation.

“We’re so grateful to have been chosen by the Mount Forest Tim Horton’s restaurant as their charity partner for this campaign,” said LMHF executive director Amy Van Huss.

“The Holiday Smile Cookie Campaign is all about spreading kindness in our community, and with nearly 5,000 cookies sold at the Mount Forest location alone, that’s both a lot of kindness and a very successful campaign!”

The Tim Hortons Holiday Smile Cookie campaign, now in its third year, raised over $13 million for more than 600 charities across Canada.

The LMHV is a registered charity that raises funds for essential equipment and capital projects for the Louise Marshall Hospital in Mount Forest. For more information visit louisemarshallfoundation.ca.
