Hundreds of people packed into the Aboyne Hall at the Wellington County Museum and Archives on Saturday for the ever-popular Seedy Saturday event. The aim of the day, which is jointly organized by the Elora and Salem and the Fergus and District horticultural societies, is to promote food crop biodiversity and gardening knowledge in the community. Dozens of vendors were on hand to share their knowledge and sell their products. Local master gardeners were available to answer questions and three short workshops were well attended by eager gardeners looking forward to the first green shoots of spring after a long winter.
