Snow removal – Roadways plagued by drifting snow are being cut back using snowblower units like this one – or larger. Snowbelt regions need travelling lanes cleared of snowbanks. Performance – The Elora Skating Club’s adult synchronized skating team took to the ice at a competition in Kingston from Jan. 23 to 25. The group includes Sarah R., Shannon F., Heather H., Stacey J., Tara D., Dana B., Laura B., Natalia S., Ciara S., Andrea D., Rachel V., Kelly M., Steph S., Sarah S., Jenna M. and Sarah S. “The team demonstrated strong teamwork, commitment and passion for the sport, and we are very proud of their efforts and performance,” officials stated. The donation, from a raffle and silent auction held at a bazaar in November, totaled $3,431. In addition, clothing collected from St. Joseph parishioners was donated to the hospital’s Clothes Closet.
