A sign of spring? – Thousands of tundra swans migrate through southern Ontario, particularly in late March, stopping to rest and feed before flying to the Arctic. The largest migrations, involving thousands of birds, occur on their journey from Chesapeake Bay to their breeding grounds near Hudson Bay. These tundra swans were recently spotted in Clifford. Fun fundraiser – The Fergus Curling Club held its annual Curl for a Cause fundraising event on March 28, this time to benefit the Aboyne Rural Hospice. Easter – The Whistle Stop Cooperative Preschool in Aberfoyle held its annual Breakfast with the Easter Bunny on March 28 at the Puslinch Community Centre.
