Thieves steal $100,000 worth of copper wire from business

GUELPH-ERAMOSA – Police are looking for clues after someone stole about $100,000 worth of copper wire from a business here.

On Oct. 19 Wellington County OPP responded to a theft reports at a business on Wellington Road 32 in Guelph-Eramosa.

Police say that sometime between Oct. 18 4pm and Oct. 19 at 6am, someone pried open two doors to gain access to the building and stole copper wire valued at about $100,000.

A 10-foot UHaul truck with a cowboy riding a horse graphic on the side was seem at the business on Oct. 18 at about 10:23pm, police say.
