The Rexall Onewalk to Conquer Cancer raised $4.7 million
The Rexall OneWalk to Conquer Cancer has raised $172 million since its inception in 2003.
Funds raised through the Rexall OneWalk to Conquer Cancer support personalized cancer medicine at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.
This year 3,200 participants, including Fergus resident Amanda Higgens and other local walkers, raised $4.7 million, walking either the 15 kilometre Night Walk, which took place on Oct. 7 evening, or 15, 25 or 40 kilometres through the streets of Toronto on Oct. 8.
