FERGUS - Now in its tenth season, The Real St. Patrick show will return to Reel Celts band member Nonie Thompson’s hometown of Fergus on March 17 at 8pm at the Fergus Grand Theatre.

The band features Anne Lederman on fiddle, Paul Gribbon on uilleann pipes and whistles, Tom Leighton on accordion and keyboards, Nonie Thompson with vocals, guitar and harmonica, and Eugene Rea on banjo, bouzouki, mandolin, guitar, cittern, whistles and vocals.

The Real St. Patrick is a two-hour musical, visual and dance show that brings the audience through the life and influences of St. Patrick with songs, humour and spectacle.

The show features over 500 images of Ireland, from coastlines to castles, while The Celts provide the musical underpinning to the story with songs, instrumental sets, house-party sessions and high-energy dances.

Tickets are $28 for adults and $15 for those under the age of 18. The show is appropriate for all ages, officials say.

Order tickets online (https://secure1.tixhub.com/tcwfergus/online/b_otix.asp?cboPerformances=2189&cboEvent=410&width=1664) or purchase at the Fergus Grand Theatre or phone the box office at 519-787-1981.
