The McGinn Brothers Big Game offers contest to keep kids upbeat

CENTRE WELLINGTON – Organizers of the McGinn Brothers Big Game want to help keep kids and parents thinking about brighter days ahead as they deal with the current impact of COVID-19.

The Big Game is an all day ball hockey tournament hosted by the McGinn Brothers (Jamie, Tye and Brock) in Fergus, in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters Centre Wellington.

In a Facebook posting, organizers state, “With the absence of hockey and all the kids home from school. We want to keep people upbeat and thinking about brighter days.”

They ask that some time over the next few weeks, kids take some time by making a poster, any size that shows why they love hockey. It could be a poster about your favorite team, player, coach or teammate.
