The Grove Youth Wellness Hubs to be rebranded
GUELPH — The Grove Youth Wellness Hubs are about to be rebranded.
This evolution aligns the local network of youth hubs with a province wide system of more than 32 Youth Wellness Hub networks across Ontario and reflects its role within this broader, connected framework of care, officials state.
They will now be known as Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario (YWHO) – Wellington Guelph.
Locally, the youth hubs started in 2017 and there are now five hubs and two satellite locations in Guelph and Wellington County.
Based on an integrated model, the hubs provide health and social services side by side – a one door entryway for help, advice, social opportunities and friendship.
“Over the past year alone, youth accessed services nearly 40,000 times, reflecting both a growing demand for integrated supports and the trust young people place in this model of care,” officials state in a press release.
In the coming months, the community will begin to see a gradual transition in branding from The Grove Youth Wellness Hubs to Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario – Wellington Guelph.
This evolution aligns the local network with a province wide system of more than 32 Youth Wellness Hub networks across Ontario and reflects its role within this broader, connected framework of care.
Each Youth Wellness Hub works closely with local service providers and community partners to integrate existing services in a coordinated, youth centred way.
The goal is to ensure that youth aged 12 to 25 can access free, high quality supports, including mental health and substance use services, housing supports, education and employment assistance, and peer support—either within their own community or at any Youth Wellness Hub across the province.
“Aligning local branding with the provincial network helps young people clearly identify where support is available and builds confidence that, should they move to another Ontario community, they will encounter familiar and consistent care,” officials state.
“The network has already seen the positive impact of this connectivity for youth transitioning between communities.”
As part of this transition, community members will begin to notice updated signage and email domain changes effective May 1.
While the name and visual identity are evolving, the commitment behind the work remains unchanged.
“Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario – Wellington Guelph continues to provide barrier free, integrated services and remains dedicated to transforming Ontario’s health and social services system with and for youth to improve outcomes that matter most to young people and their families,” they state.
