The Elora Fergus Edge U-14 ‘A’ ringette team competed in the Mississauga “Must” Tournament Dec. 5 and 6.

After losing its first three games, the Edge finished strong in the final game.

The team was down 4-2, but the girls never gave up and brought themselves to within one point in the final period.

Then, with just seven seconds remaining, Kaitlyn Sharpe tied the game with a goal over the Mississauga netminder’s left pad.

Leah Hutchison played strong defensively and started the scoring for the Edge.

Ringette players came from across Ontario to participate in the tournament. In addition to the Mississauga Mustangs, the Elora Fergus Edge played teams from Sault Ste Marie, North Bay and Gloucester-Cumberland.
