P.S. Your Cat is Dead is a social comedy by James Kirkwood that will not only keep the audience laughing all night but comes with a warning - coarse language and partial nudity.
It is a fast-paced story with rapid-fire dialogue and more than souls are bared as this comical situation unfolds.
Dec. 31, 1978 is turning out to be Jimmy Zoole’s “terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day!” In fact, it is probably the very worst day of his life.
Jimmy (Michael Klein) returns to his miserable New York loft after not only losing a role in a play, but also his contracted part in his humdrum soap opera. Within this fickle world, he arrives just in time to find his girl-friend Kate (Jill Peterson) in the middle of writing him a “Dear John” letter with the postscript from the vet - P.S. your cat is dead.
She is tired of his dead end life and plans on going away with another man, Fred (Ken Cameron) for this New Year’s weekend. To really prove that Jimmy wears a capital L on his forehead, he discovers that he is being robbed for the third time by Vito (Bart Penwarden) a burglar who also has a troubled and misguided life.
