The Arboretum offers lessons about trees

The Arboretum University of Guelph is offering a tree walk.

Anyone who wants to learn more about trees, including the ones in their own backyard, can join horticulturist Sean Fox on June 17 from 7 to 9pm for a walk through the World of Trees collection as he discusses pollination, fall colour, aging, and disease resistance, as well as some interesting facts about some unique trees and shrubs. Take home an informative booklet on how to care for trees.

The registration fee is $3. For more information or to register call The Arboretum at 824-4120 extension 52358. Registration deadline is June 3.
