THATCHER, Janet Rose; 1947-2014. Passed away on February 15, 2014 in her 67th year after a brief battle with cancer. Beloved wife of 20 years to Garry Moore. Devoted mother of Shelly (Colin Craig). Super proud Gran to Morgan, Riley, Dylan and Garret. Survived by her brothers Jim (Julie), John (Jan), Jerry “Hector” (Brenda), many nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends. Janet was an almost 40 year employee of Hammond Power Solutions. Moved by her love of music, she spent many weekends playing her base fiddle and jamming with friends. Donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, 15 Wright Ave, Acton, ON, on Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 2-5 pm.
