Terry Fox run on Sept. 19 is ‘do it your own way’ event
MOUNT FOREST - Local residents are encouraged to participate in the annual Terry Fox Run on Sept. 19.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the local run will once again be a “do it your own way” event, organizers note. That means there won’t be a specific route. Participants can simply walk, cyle, ride, etc. around the block or a track - “anywhere you like safely,” organizers state.
A Terry Fox booth will be set up outside of No Frills from 9am to 2pm, where local residents can donate, purchase a Terry Fox shirt or just pick up a 2021 sticker for their participation plaque. Donations to the event may also be made online at terryfox.org.
