Teaching problem solving skills to kids
FERGUS - Safe Communities Wellington County has partnered with the Lions Clubs of Elora, Fergus and Belwood, and Lions Quest Canada to present a workshop on how adults can help kids succeed.
The free session is on April 13, from 9am to 1:30pm, at the Fergus OPP detachment, 470 Wellington Rd. 18.
It is intended for parents, grandparents, teachers, coaches, counsellors and anyone who has an impact on a child’s life.
It will stress the importance of 40 problem solving skills that kids need.
