Target to close March 22

Target here will be closing its doors for good on March 22.

On March 13, Target Corporation identified the first round of store closures since its Jan. 15 announcement that all 133 stores across the nation would be closing. Three stores closed on March 18.

Locally, in addition to Fergus, the store in Kitchener will also close on March 22. Target spokesperson Molly Snyder said in an email statement, “Target Canada alerts specific store teams that their stores will be closing approximately 10 days prior to the final day the store is open to the public.”
