Take your sweetheart to "showdance"
]Longing for a romantic evening away from the hustle and bustle with that special someone on Valentines Day?
Feeling a need to dance the night away to a live band playing some old (and not so old) love songs? Then make plans to attend the Sweethearts Showdance on Feb. 14 at the Elora Legion.
Presented by Mapletone in partnership with the Elora Legion, the Sweethearts Showdance will feature the Lucas Rogerson Band (Lucas Rogerson, Caleb DeGroot, Drew Moore, Morgan Dunbar and Kayla McTaggert) performing covers of timeless love songs such as Unchained Melody, When A Man Loves a Woman, My Girl as well as some newer compositions by the band that will be sure to keep guests on the floor.
Opening the evening will be Acoustic Cadillac, an acoustic trio from Erin performing pop/rock covers.
Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door and are available at the Elora Legion or by calling 519-993-8353. Doors open at 7:30pm and show time is 8pm.
