Tag days approved for local Air Cadets
It took little effort for the Mount Forest Air Cadets to get an approval for coming tag days in Mount Forest and Arthur.
Carol McGee, 895 Squadron sponsoring committee chairman, wrote to council for permission for the tag days on Oct. 16 and April 23.
McGee wrote, “Tag days are extremely important fundraising events for our squadron.”
“The Air Cadet Program provides leadership, lifeskills, citizenship, team-building, and self-disciplined training in a structured program to youth 12 to 18 years old.” She added the program benefits them both now and in the future.
Council had no issue granting the request.
