Swtizer, Donalda Jean; Peacefully on Tuesday, October 18, 2011. Donalda Switzer, long time resident and farmer of Hillsburgh in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Howard (1995). Dear mother of Craig (June) and Keith (Barb) both of Hillsburgh. Cherished Gramma of Kris (Ashley), Brooke, Chad and Ashley and Gramma Don to Dawn, Dennis and many others. Great-Gamma of Alyssa, Aidan and Carter. Dear sister of Kerwin (Jean) McPhail and Margaret (Peg) Reid. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters-in-law Ken, Craig, George, Gladys, Marjorie, Bob, Louis and Isabel. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Donalda was a long time teacher in the Acton and Erin area, life member of the Erin Agricultural Society, lifetime member of the Federated Women’s Institute of Ontario and a proud member of Mimosa United Church and the U.C.W. Rested at The Butcher Family Funeral Home, 5399 Main St. S., Erin, where the Funeral Service took place on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at 1pm. Visitation was on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Donations to the Wellington 4H Association, Erin Agricultural Society or the Mimosa United Church would be appreciated by the family.
