Swing band returns for Hot Night in Hillsburgh
Brampton-based 18-piece big band, The Chinguacousy Swing Orchestra will take to the Century Church Theatre stage again on April 11, for the 8th annual A Hot Night in Hillsburgh.
This year the band will offer two completely different sets, with music ranging from swing classics of the ‘40s and ‘50s, leading up to the funk and fusion of the ‘80s and ‘90s. Organizers suggest the band may even stray into a bit of country, even though “Swing” is their middle name.
