Swift, Harvey Edwin; Passed away at Groves Memorial Hospital in his 93rd year on April 2nd, 2012. Harvey was predeceased by his wife Leone of 62 years, in February of this year. Lovingly remembered by his daughter Jayne and husband Peter Moretti. Forever missed by his granddaughters Elisa (Steve) Nagy and Paula. Remembered by his great grandchildren Carter and Natasha. Harvey is predeceased by his brothers Kenneth and Newton as well as his parents Lavina May and Edwin. The family would like to thank Dr. Stickney and the staff at Groves, who provided excellent care to him in his final days. Visitation was held at the Graham Giddy Funeral Home and Chapel, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus, from 7:00-9:00pm on Wednesday, April 4th and 1:30-2:00pm on Thursday, April 5th. A funeral service was held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 2:00pm. The family has requested that donations be directed towards the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Groves Memorial Hospital.
