Sutherland, Lucille; Passed away peacefully at her home on July 3, 2009 in her 87th year. Cherished mother to Donald (Lynn) and Jane (David) Firth. Also special mother to Marilyn (Dan) Dalton, Joyce (Skip) McGibbon, Murray (Mary Jean) Darroch, Glen Darroch, Peggy Morrison, Mary Lynn Darroch, Gary (Kim) Darroch and their families. Loving grandmother to Rebecca, Carolyn, Andrew and Vicky. Survived by sisters Mary Tuck-Buchar and Jean Campbell. Predeceased by first husband Dr. Grant Sutherland, second husband Cliff Darroch, sisters Alva, Helen and Gladys and brother Lyle. Friends were received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, on Monday, July 6th from 6-8pm and Tuesday, July 7, 2009 from 11-1pm. Service followed in the funeral home chapel after visitation on Tuesday at 1pm. Remembrances can be made in memory of Lucille to the Canadian Cancer Society. Cards available at the Funeral Home.
