Superstars shine well at Summer Twirl

Some members of the Superstars Baton Club attended the Summer Twirl competition in Newmarket on May 27.  Approximately 60 athletes attended this competition.

Individual results are as follows:

- Mackenzie Fraser, 10, of Arthur received two first place finishes;

- Alyssa George, 13, of Fergus received a first place finish;

- Hayleigh Homer, 14, of Fergus received three first place finishes;

- Morgan Hutchison, 9, of Arthur received three first place finishes;

- Elsie Post, 11, of Arthur received two first place finishes;

- Jayda Saunders, 7, of Fergus received one first place finish;

- Lainey Saunders, 10, of Fergus received two first place finishes and won the Novice  PreTeen Miss Summer Twirl pageant;

- Jadyn Worton, 9, of Fergus received one first place finish and won the Novice Juvenile Summer Twirl Pageant;

- Makenzie Worton, 15, of Fergus received one first place finish; and

- Jaime Green, 7, of Arthur received two third place finishes.

The duet team of Green and Jayda Saunders won the Novice Duet division and the team of George and Makenzie Worton were second in Advance Duet division.
