Superstars are provincial champions
Ten members of the Superstars Baton Club competed in Oshawa at the Canadian National Baton Twirling Association provincial championships on May 3 and 4.
Approximately 150 athletes gathered to compete for the provincial cups and Miss Majorette of Ontario pageant.
Winners include: Alyssa George, Hayleigh Homer, Skylar Irwin, Paige Johnston, Audra Jander, Bailey Pinder, Elsie Post, Lauren Robb, Madeline Schindler, and Makenzie Worton.
The team “Boogie Shoes” came home the Pre-teen Beginner Dance Twirl Team Champions.
Members include: Homer, George, Jander, Schindler and Worton.
The team “One of Us” placed fourth. Members include: George, Jander, Robb, and Worton.
The girls will be training hard for the CNBTA National Championships at the beginning of July in Kitchener.
