Sunrise seeking volunteers to help disabled children
Can anyone help a young child with special needs one hour per week?
There are many ways volunteers can be involved in the therapeutic riding program at Sunrise Equestrian Centre’s 100 acre farm 15 minutes from Guelph and from Cambridge.
Volunteers are needed year round to help as leaders or sidewalkers in therapeutic riding lessons, with gardening, office support, building and maintenance projects, painting, and housekeeping.
Many teen volunteers ages 15-plus join the Sunrise volunteer program during the summer – a great way to gain high school community hours.
