‘Sunny Days Ahead’ outdoor market held in Fergus
FERGUS – It wasn’t sunny, but it wasn’t raining. Plenty of people came out for the Sunny Days Ahead outdoor market in downtown Fergus on June 8, at the corner of St. David and St. Patrick streets. The event was designed to bring people downtown during reconstruction of St. David Street North (Highway 6) and it did that, said organizer Jailena Williamson, who also owns Violet and Ash Candle Company that’s located in the complex. Vendors sold food, jewelry, hand-knit items and more at the market.
