Summer Reading Club returns to libraries in county

Summer Reading Club is back and better than ever! Come to your local library to register. By signing up, kids can collect beads and brag tags as they track their reading. The more they read, the greater the reward!

Reading is a great way to keep your children engaged and busy during their time off, plus it leaves them better prepared for school in the fall.

Adults and teens also get to participate. Every branch has a selection of prizes: locally curated gift baskets and a tree from the Wellington County Green Legacy program. Every book read equals one ballot.

Your library will have crafts, activities, movies and special guests all summer long. With 14 branches to choose from, we’re sure to have something you won’t want to miss! See below for a sample of the free programing running in Minto and Wellington North this month.

For a full list of programing, visitwellington.ca/LibraryCalendar. Search our event calendar, and register for programs online. Don’t forget to subscribe for a programing brochure so you never miss a program.
