Successful Habitat fundraiser
Habitat for Humanity Wellington County has announced the second annual Building a Dream dinner auction celebration raised more donations than the inaugural event.
With help of community partners, the fundraiser on Nov. 4 raised $37,000. That is $8,000 more than the amount raised in 2009.
Habitat for Humanity Wellington County is planning on six builds 2011, including a My Neighbour’s House - Faith Build, Women Build, Corporate Build and Wellington County Community Build - Fergus-Elora.
