Students hold a Prom Dress Drive
PALMERSTON – On May 10, two students from the Norwell District Secondary School Equity Class held a Prom Dress Drive at The Grove Hubs Palmerston for those still needing or wanting prom dresses. Abby Wightman, right, said The Grove held an event like this last year, but she and Samantha Widmeyer, left, are doing it this year for their summative project. The two teens added that most of the dresses came from Palmerston’s Blessings To You thrift store, and any dresses not taken will be used again for a prom dress drive next year.
