Emily Prestaya, a grade 5 student at St. Joseph’s School here, will be having a hair cut on Nov. 19 to benefit Groves Hospital.

The Locks of Love program benefits cancer victims.

Emily’s mother, Angela, said her daughter has been hoping to do the haircut and donation for over a year, and has decided now is the time. She might also be joined by other students.

The money she raises will be used to benefit Groves Hospital through Locks of Love.

Anyone wishing to make a donation to the cause can contact St. Joseph School at 519-843-3810. Donations of $20 and over get a tax receipt.
