Streetscape discussion
At a recent Wellington North works committee meeting there was a lengthy discussion regarding the proposed BIA streetscape design.
A list of concerns and proposed changes were itemized and the list is to be taken by councillors Dan Yake and Bob Mason to the next BIA meeting. The municipality has applied for ministry of Transportation funding and should know by June if that application is approved.
If it is, the MTO connecting link tender should be sent out in June.
That means the design needs to be completed as soon as possible so that they can be included in the tender.
Council is requesting a meeting with the Mount Forest BIA in order to finish the design.
