Strategic review decision expected
On Aug. 25 councillors here received and reviewed a proposed corporate strategic plan.
CAO/town manager Kathryn Ironmonger anticipates a decision on this first draft at the next regularly scheduled council session.
Ironmonger said that originally, consideration was given to leaving the matter for the incoming council following October’s municipal election.
However, Ironmonger said the operational review proposed for the town takes into account the key principals of the strategic plan.
She added, even if should council make a decision at this point it can always be modified or adjusted by the next council.
