Elora Fergus Tourism wants to hear from Centre Wellington residents and business owners as to what makes their community unique.

The township’s economic development department is working to update its community profile which markets Centre Wellington to investors both large and small, across Ontario and beyond.

It is  part of a mandate to stimulate and guide local economic growth in Centre Wellington with a main priority of business attraction strategy.

Important components of the marketing campaign include stories and testimonials from business owners and residents describing what it is that drew them here and has kept them here over the years, doing business, raising families and living life.

What differentiates Centre Wellington from other communities?

Local stories provide that insight as to what makes Centre Wellington unique.

In addition, the group is looking for high resolution photos whether it is a favourite spot, event, landmark or activity, a community gathering or a solitary walk in the country.

Local business owners are also being asked to describe the business environment and how being in Centre Wellington impacted that business.

Organizers are especially keen to see photos of businesses/staff in action – particularly in the industrial sector.

Please send your stories and photos to Deb Dalziel at ddalziel@centrewellington.ca.
