Still chasing the ace

Jim Dixon, left, was the weekly winner in the Jan. 20 Catch the Ace draw run by the Rotary Club of Fergus-Elora. He received $590 from Jim Gibbons, chairman for the raffle. All net proceeds from this Catch the Ace raffle will go to Groves Hospital Foundation for the new hospital. None of the weekly winners so far has chosen the envelope with the Ace of Spades card, so the overall jackpot continues to climb. The jackpot for the Feb. 3 draw will be $11,803 if all 800 tickets for that date are sold. Tickets are $5, available at the Legion branch, 500 Blair Street in Fergus.               Submitted photo
