Stephens, Cody Lee; of Meaford, formerly of Maryborough Township and Waterloo, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, to join his dad Don (Scratch) MacRitchie in heaven on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at the Meaford General Hospital in his 26th year. Beloved Son of Sharon (Spook) Stephens of Meaford. Son of Richard Buckley of Palmerston. Brother of Billy Buckley and Jessica Buckley both of Palmerston. Always remembered by Twiggy, Moe and Sparrow as well as his godparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, the MacRitchie family and Cody’s many dear friends. Predeceased by his grandparents Henry and Maggie Stephens, Lionel and Bea MacRitchie and Rosie and Louie Buckley and two uncles Howard Stephens and Charlie Buckley. Cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to an informal Celebration of Cody’s life at the Frank Lambier, Royal Canadian Legion Branch #409, Palmerston on Friday, November 18, 2011 from 8pm to 11pm. A Graveside Service will be held in Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Muscular Dystrophy (for children) or the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
