Stanley Cup comes to Fergus
It’s playoff season and the real Stanley Cup is coming to the Centre Wellington Sportsplex here on April 28.
People will have an opportunity to be photographed next to the Stanley Cup, as part of fundraiser in support of the Elora Fergus Ringette Association.
Next December, several players from that association will be travelling to Finland to participate in a tournament on Dec. 26.
The team is hosting a fundraiser in conjunction with the Centre Wellington Food Bank.
For a fee of $20,or $15 with a non-perishable food donation to the food bank, individuals, teams, groups or families (even pets), can have their photo taken with the Stanley Cup.
The fee includes a CD copy of the photo.
The Stanley Cup will be on display for this photo fundraiser on April 28 at 5pm.
