SPLINT, Hendrik Adrianus – Passed away peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital from pneumonia on March 12, 2016 in his 89th year. Hendrik joins his loving wife Anna in heaven. Loving father to Mary and David Schmidt, Albert and Claire Splint, Jim and Janet Splint, Mike and Judi Splint, and Sylvia and Paul Paurys. Wonderful Opa to ten grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and their families. Survived by his two loving sisters. Hendrik will be missed by many other family members and friends in both Canada and Europe. Family and friends are invited to the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, for visitation on Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 9 p.m. with a vigil at 3 p.m. Funeral mass to be celebrated at St. Boniface Church, 1394 Maryhill Rd., Maryhill on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 10 a.m. followed by interment at St. Boniface Cemetery.
