ROCKWOOD - The Rockwood Firefighters Association is hosting an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner at the Rockmosa Community Centre in Rockwood on Jan. 29 at 6:30pm.

All proceeds will go to local fire departments fighting the wild fires in Australia.

Tickets are $12 online (go to Eventbrite through the Guelph Eramosa Firefighters Faceook page), or $15 at the door. Kids under three eat for free.

At its Jan. 13 meeting, Guelph-Eramosa council received a delegation from firefighters Kurt McArthur and Danny Marshall, and agreed to waive the rental fee for the Rockmosa hall.

“It’s nice to see the empire working together,” said Mayor Chris White.
